It's one of the most important rooms in a home.  Some might call it the "heart" of the home.  It's where families and friends come together to enjoy each other's company and to be replenished.  We're talking, of course, about the kitchen.

One great thing about the kitchen is that it is one of the rooms in your home most likely to get you a high rate of return when doing renovations.  But if a major overhaul isn't in the budget, you can still do so much with a fairly small amount of money by just changing a few things.  For instance, painting walls and cabinets, replacing old hardware with new, replacing faucets with more modern designs, and replacing window treatments can really give you a lot of bang for your buck.
