It's that time of year again! The Music City Sports Festival starts Friday (May 31) and runs through Saturday (June 1). The event allows fans to "get up close and personal" with athletes and sports personalities from the area and beyond.
There will be keynote speakers and appearances from various athletic personalities. The weekend is hosted by George Plaster, a sports radio host on 102.5 "The Game."
On Friday, the doors for Music City Sports Festival open at 3 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. On Saturday, the event is held from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Marshall Molar 5k begins on Saturday at 7 a.m. and you can register for the event here.
This summer's Music City Sports Festival is only $5 to enter and is being held at the brand new Music City Center!
The biggest speaker at this year's event is no doubt former Atlanta Braves third baseman, Chipper Jones. He's scheduled for Saturday at 12:40 p.m.
Other highlights will include: James Franklin, Kirby Smart, Predators alumni, Jimmy Sexton, Anthony Munoz, Becky Burleigh and Chance Warmack.
