Just a few short days and we will be once again celebrating the independence of our great country. In the spirit of the 4th of July, we've compiled a list of events happening in and around Nashville to help you celebrate the right way.
The 2013 Music City July 4th celebration in Nashville will include 10 hours of music, fireworks and a Family Fun Zone that is free of charge. The Adventure Science Center is also allowing guests to view the fireworks right from their location as part of Red, White & Boom! You can even park for free if you buy a ticket to the event! Find out more about the event at the Adventure Science Center website.
Nashville's Lipscomb University is also hosting a family-friendly event featuring music and fireworks.
Crockett Park, located in Brentwood, will have a 4th of July concert followed by fireworks in Eddy Arnold Amphitheater. Find out more here.

The 2013 Music City Hot Chicken Festival is a unique way to celebrate your holiday. They'll have a Yazoo Beer Garden, inflatables for the kids and of course, hot chicken. Find out more here.
