We found a few activities happening here in Middle Tennessee on Mother's Day. Whether you want to take mom for brunch, indulge in wine on mother's day or go for a run - we've got you covered.
Jonathan's Grille, in Green Hills, has a patio perfect for the predicted 67 degree weather on Sunday. If you want to make mom feel a little more fancy, order her a $4 mimosa. The Jonathan's brunch menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nashville Wine Tours is hosting a Mother's Day Wine Tour complete with a limo for a classy, unique day for mom. A limo ride, wine tasting and a picnic in the countryside is available for $75. The picnic will pair your vino up with cheese, antipastos, pastries and fruit.
You may never have considered a 5k as a Mother's Day activity, but the Run Like a Mother 5k series is changing that. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the children's one-mile race starts at 8 a.m. After you and your family cross the finish line, you deserve a celebration. The Run Like a Mother post-race party has food, drinks and children's activities to help you cool down with mom.

If you're looking to step it up a notch this year for your brunch with mom, the Hilton Nashville is offering an abundance of foods in a classy environment. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., they will be serving salmon, pasta, breakfast items, mango lime grouper, fresh breads and more. You'll be paying for the environment though with the buffet costing $39 for adults, $12.95 for kids 7-12 and is free for children 6 and under.
Another upscale brunch will be hosted at the Union Station Hotel. They declare the brunch as being "fit for a queen" and includes a Prix Fixe family style dinner, live entertainment to keep you and your mom happy as well as complimentary valet parking. The cost is $45 for adults, $15 for kids 7-12 and children under 6 are free.
