Celebrity Home Series: George Jones' home will always be a Nashville landmark

Last week, country music fans began to worry as music legend George Jones was hospitalized. The Twitter world was buzzing with Tweets of "Get well soon, George" and "We love you, Possum."

Many Nashvillians woke today with heavy hearts as the news of George Jones' passing spread like wildfire on the Internet and through social media. Country music stars, musicians and music lovers all sent their condolences to his wife, Nancy, who many were also familiar with.

If you're a local to middle Tennessee, you know how much of a staple the home of George and Nancy Jones has been in the area. People visit to take photos and fans were especially happy to visit during Christmas when Jones and his wife had an epic Christmas lights display.

The home is located in Franklin, where many local celebrities and country stars reside. The house is said to have four bedrooms, more than six bathrooms, a salt water pool, a guesthouse and barn. It boasts over 70 acres.
